Well Mass Comm, you've always managed to keep us on our toes. I don't see why I expected our year 3 electives to be any different.
Had briefing today. Glad i wasn't goofing off as usual, we were thrown quite a few curves.
Kaa-Boom 1 - No Book Writing & Publishing. @#$%^&* though i wasn't that convinced i wanted it anyway..
Kaa-Boom 2 - IMC + Advance PR or Advanced Advertising. ONLY. i got Ms. Kwan's "now-calm-down-you-rowdies" rationalisation, really. But by that point you might as well specialise, no?
which brings us to...
Kaa-Boom 3 - specialised diplomas.
the moment they were mentioned (and explained for the slower ones), there was a minor uproar as we went "whoa, WHAT??", which was almost silently deafened by the collective purring as the year 2 MCMers' brains starting to strategise like crazy.
The wheels in our heads went round and round, round and round as we churned out a dozen ways we can seize/will be blocked from seizing our dream electives. and the well-oiled minds of our darling top 20% churned all the harder, cos they can (and SO will, selfish pigs that they are:) ) have 4 electives, instead of the usual puny 3.
no fair balls, limited slots yo!
